Welcome to my occult horror blog page. Blog may be a bit of a highfalutin term to use as these are essentially very short musings I’ve written for occasional editions of my monthly newsletter. I’ve included them here for your delectation 😄.
Like many authors, I often fill my newsletters with news of my upcoming occult horror books, or advertise my free or low discount deals to my treasured mailing list of subscribers. In between the direct marketing, I might throw in a film or book review, or pontificate on a subject related to arts, philosophy or even magic. These are subjects I’m still learning about. Indeed, I love learning something new about them daily.
At present, the list of blogs (or musings) is very short, but like a garden vine taking over a shiplap fence, that list will grow in time. You may have encountered this page from a search engine and are wondering what it’s all about. Well, in that case, you’ve chanced upon a random creeper on my horror writer’s website. If you like quirky horror fiction, stick around. Who knows, you might even like what you discover.

Horror art, and by that I mean all forms of the horror medium, be it fiction, painting, film, music, touches on our fragile existence, our loneliness in the face of the enormity of an inexplicable, maybe monstrous, universe.
Many think horror fiction is about death, fear of death, jump scares and hideous monsters. I agree, but I believe that there’s so much more to horror. I hate the cliches like holding life up to a dark mirror, etc. To express that horror is just about death is to abstract it to the point of pushing it away. Horror walks with us. It’s our constant companion. Horror is integral to life. As such, as a horror writer I will continue to blog about the more esoteric themes of arts, philosophy and magic.
